Jo joined the firm in 2006 and has extensive experience gained within leading professional service firms and consultancies, identifying and developing skills and capabilities essential for achieving business goals. A thought leader in people development but with a pragmatic, results orientated style and a successful record of delivering development initiatives that make a difference to both a business and the individual.
Jo was Senior Manager UK and EMEIA Legal Performance and Learning for Arthur Andersen. Before that, Jo was National Head of Performance Development for DLA. From 1992 to 1997 Jo was Director of Performance and Management Development for the Legal Resources Group – a national association of leading UK firms.
Jo practised as a Corporate Solicitor until 1990. Following this, Jo was a Senior Lecturer in Law. Jo served as the Law Society Council Member for Education and Training for four years, and Chair of its Training Committee, and was also a member of the Standards Board. She is a member of the Management Board.
