James specialises in estate planning, UK and offshore trusts and taxation. He acts for clients who are resident and domiciled within or outside the UK, including those whose affairs involve multiple jurisdictions. He is also head of the firm's French Group.
A member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) committee on cross border estates, James has lectured in France, Switzerland and Belgium on trusts and taxation.
