Experience
David is experienced in advising public authorities, trade associations and corporate bodies on all forms of legislative procedure. He is a specialist in EU law and procedures, including public procurement, competition, grants and loans, tax and excise duties.
David is also a specialist in transport infrastructure schemes, including rapid transit and port infrastructure and acts for various harbour authorities. His work with environmental law issues includes advising on environmental impact assessment relating to town and country planning, transport and other infrastructure authorisation. Other planning work encompasses compulsory acquisition and compensation.
David also advises on competiton law, including public procurement, statutory monopolies, Articles 101 and 102 of the EU Treaty, domestic competition law and state aid. He also advises on public law, including freedom of information and human rights.
