Benjamin trained as a commercial solicitor and soon developed an interest in information management and intellectual property. He put all these skills to good use whilst working in-house for a leading charity early in his career.
In recent years his practice has focused on the commercial aspects of information management and intellectual property providing advice to a number of commercial and public sector organisations. He developed a comprehensive data protection audit facility and also assists organisations to structure data protection, freedom of information and human rights policy and practice. Benjamin also assists clients to help keep their information confidential.
He has particular interest in trade marks and copyright, and this has lead to his involvement in the widening of trade mark types that can be registered and all aspects of brand protection.
Utilising his past experience working for a charity, Benjamin continues to act for a number of charities providing commercial and governance advice in addition to information management and intellectual property advice.
