
Angus has several years' experience of promoting and opposing major infrastructure projects. He has drafted authorising legislation and objections, addressing many of the issues which arise during the process such as planning and compulsory purchase, and has co-ordinated counsel and witnesses when promoting and opposing cases at different times.
Angus is a member of the editorial board of the Compulsory Purchase Procedure Manual published by the Department for Communities and Local Government, and has processed several compulsory purchase compensation claims relating to infrastructure projects. Angus is also experienced in advising public bodies on their powers and duties, in particular the Greater London Authority, and, the former Countryside Agency, in relation to National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
