Top 100 law firm Bircham Dyson Bell has been appointed to the legal panel able to advise the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB), following a competitive tendering exercise.
Led by public law partner David Mundy and fellow partner Chris Findley, who heads the firm’s specialist agriculture and landed estates group, the Bircham Dyson Bell team is competing to advise on a wide range of legal issues having been successfully appointed under the Framework Agreement to be able to advise on 12 of the possible 13 lots that were available.
Commenting on the firm’s appointment David Mundy said:
"We are delighted to have been appointed to the AHDB legal panel in the face of very stiff competition. The fact that we have been appointed to the framework on such a wide range of legal matters is a testament to our strength across the sector and our experience in advising public authorities, executive agencies, and other NDPBs. It is also recognition of the reputation of Chris Findley and his team in relation to agricultural matters."
The Framework Agreement will take effect from 1st April 2010 and will run for a four year period.
The appointment continues a run of success for Bircham Dyson Bell which has in recent weeks been reappointed to the legal services panel for English Heritage and has also been reappointed as public affairs advisors to Merseytravel.
