Bircham Dyson Bell are holding a Business Breakfast with David Finlay, Director of the National Audit Office Corporate Finance & Infrastructure Team. David will be speaking about Public Sector challenges in delivering and managing infrastructure projects in the current environment.
David is responsible for the NAO's external relations with contractors and providers of finance. He is a chartered accountant whose career has spanned both the private and public sectors.
David was one of the founding members of the NAO's team of private finance specialists and has led many of their important private finance examinations. These include PFI refinancing, benchmarking and market testing the service provision, PFI in the waste sector, the NAO's recent report on commercial skills for complex projects and their current work on the effects of the credit crisis on PFI infrastructure projects.
David also runs the NAO programme of workshops on managing project relationships.
Registration for the breakfast will commence at 8.00 am, the meeting at 8.30 am and the proceedings will finish no later than 9.30 am, being held at our offices at 50 Broadway, London SW1H 0BL (opposite St James's Park Underground Station). The session will be strictly held under the Chatham House rule.
